About JASEB - Serving Seniors Since 1971Japanese American Services of the East Bay, Inc. (JASEB) provides assistance and services for seniors and their families in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. JASEB operates a senior center and lunch program, provides information, assistance and case management services, owns two community homes in which the care and supervision of residents are the responsibility of the families in these exempt from licensing facilities, and is the co-sponsor of a HUD-subsidized congregate apartment building.

An ideal candidate for the position will relish the opportunity to lead our organization through a period of fundamental change in order to meet the needs of our community,” said Bruce Hironaka, board president. Quarterly NewsletterJASEB sends out a quarterly newsletter in English and Japanese to over 1,600 households featuring updates on upcoming and recent fundraisers and events, our Senior Center's Class Schedule, DayTrips and Monthly Lecture Series, as well as new program developments and changes within the organization.
